Birches Group has a long history working with embassies and consulates in managing local staff compensation and benefits. Embassies play an important role in local labor markets and often compete with the broad general market for local talent. Many of the larger embassies are participants in the Birches Group multi-sector surveys, which allow these organizations to benchmark their talent broadly.
Smaller embassies with less extensive operations often wish to benchmark their local staff against other embassies and consulates using the specific roles that are unique to their community. To address this need, Birches Group is now offering the Embassy and Consular Community Survey (ECCS). The pilot survey, for Manila, will be launched in May, 2014, and expand to other locations based on demand.
