Our perspective

Our many years of experience, as both consultants, and as practitioners in large, global organizations, provide us with a broad range of expertise and a unique perspective on developing countries.  We understand the fluid nature of the markets, how employers compete with each other within and across sectors, and how talent is engaged and motivated.

We also have a unique understanding of the role international public sector organizations have in forming labor markets in smaller countries, where they are often among the leaders. Birches Group is the only firm with a deep understanding of this sector and the impact it has on other employers.

Our focus

We are singularly focused on developing markets.  We assist clients in managing their talent in these markets, through the provision of reliable and comprehensive market data.  Our approach is simple, yet powerful and consistent.  We understand employers don’t have a lot of time to participate in surveys, so have developed a process to minimize the time required.  This should not be construed as a short cut on quality, however.  We ensure high quality through a well designed survey interview process which includes job matching on behalf of each client by our survey specialist.

Our flexibility

Like our namesake birch trees, as a small global firm, we have the ability to adapt to changing client needs quickly.  We can be flexible when clients require it.  We can change our tools to meet client needs, and continuously look for ways to improve our products and the utility of our systems.  Because we are small, we can react more quickly than a larger firm.
