2015 Market Movement Projections

2015 Market Movement Projections

Birches Group has compiled projected market movement data for almost 90 countries, which we are happy to share with our clients and friends.  We hope this information will be useful as you finalize your salary budgets for the upcoming year.

Methodology
We have estimated the market movement for professional and support staff roles using our proprietary Trends™ model.  Trends™ calculates a best-fit regression line against historical survey data to project market movement.  A minimum of 5 years of actual survey data from the Birches Group multi-sector surveys are used in the calculation of the numbers. You can read a more detailed description of the Trends™ methodology here.

Our projections also show projected inflation for 2015.  This data was sourced from the World Economic Outlook published by the International Monetary Fund.

Usage
The data provided in the graphs below are projections.  We believe the data can be relied upon as one of the factors considered when employers determine salary budgets for the upcoming year.  However, please remember these are projections, not actual data.  It is impossible to know the exact market movement for 2015 until the end of that year!
