Birches Group LLC is pleased to announce the launch of a Total Compensation Survey for Iraq. Employers are invited to participate in this comprehensive survey, which will include leading employers from all sectors.
Birches Group conducts Total Compensation surveys in 147 countries throughout the developing world. Our specialized survey methodology is tailored to the conditions employers face in smaller, developing markets. Participants will have the option to receive either a static report, or access to the data via Indigo™, the Birches Group web-enabled survey portal, which supports customized reporting and analytics.

Each of these components is valued using the Birches Group methodology; both gross (pre-tax) and net (after-tax) values are available. In addition, we will gather information about other benefits, such as retirement, health care and insurance, and provide reports summarizing the Social Security, labour law and leave benefits, income tax rules, and exchange rate history.
Participation is easy. We do not use lengthy questionnaires for our surveys. Instead, each participating employer is interviewed by our salary survey specialist. The interview will consist of a series of questions about your organization structure; jobs and job content; salary scales; benefits, allowances; and other company practices. Our specialist will match your jobs to the Birches Group benchmarks for you.
We hope to collect the data for the survey during the month of July, and possibly into early August. We would expect to publish the results of the survey by the end of September, 2009. For this introductory year, the cost is $500 for the static report; $750 for a 12-month subscription via Indigo™. These rates represent a 50% discount from our normal survey costs!
